1st Day-Trip / Arrival
2nd day- Levada dos Maroços / Túnel do Caniçal (10km) 4h walk
A journey in which hikers discover a world of cultures and traditions of the island of Madeira, interacting with the people of the land. Along the walk, you will contemplate the scenic beauty of the lands and agricultural plantations, besides the views over the city of Machico.
3rd Day- Queimadas Park Levada do Caldeirão Verde / Queimadas (16km, round trip) 5h30 walk
This Levada is an impressive work of art built in the XXVIII Century, which crosses abrupt cliffs and mountains and transports the water that flows from the highest mountains of the island. Along the way, you will pass through 4 tunnels excavated by hand, until arriving at the waterfall formed lake of the Caldeirão Verde at 100mt. After resting and delighting in this spectacular natural landscape it is time to go back and down to the Ilha parish.
4th day- Horse Riding
5th day- Ponta de São Lourenço (8km, go and return trip) 3h / 3h30 walk
Before climbing to the end of the trip you can view the ‘Deserted Islands’ as well as the island of Porto Santo. Finally, take a rest in the Sardinhas House (name of the family of the old owners) and dive in the bay of the Sardinhas.
6th day- To Pico Ruivo /Achada do Teixeira (6km, round trip) 2.30h walk
Stop in Santana to visit the famous traditional houses.
7th day- Discovering the city of Funchal and catamaran tour
After this discovery follows to the oldest and most emblematic streets in Funchal, Santa Maria Street that has been “born again” with its painting doors and the commercial life it has.
Ascent to the cable car To Monte, where you can visit one of the most visited Churches of the island, the Igreja do Monte from XIX century.
Before lunch, an adventure with the lively descent to the Livramento, in the famous wicker baskets, once used as means of transport of the local people.

A trip of 3 hours, to sail along the south coast Madeirense.
You can even have the opportunity to see up close, dolphin, whales, and giant tortoises. Near to Cabo Girão, you still have time for a swim in a contagious blue sea.
